I am so fortunate to do what inspires me the most – capture love. There are different kinds of love, but the one from parents towards their children is probably my favorite to photograph. It has everything – tenderness, care, inspiration and admiration, laughter and cuddles. I feel very honored when I get to witness and document these special relationships, a bond between a mother and her daughter, a father and a son. Being a mother myself, I feel that I could relate even more. Children grow way too fast, and those precious moments with them come and go, being preserved in our memories and in the pictures.
Often families pick a date that is meaningful for them, like a wedding anniversary, and try to plan annual photo sessions around that time to create a tradition and to capture kids growing and changing every year.
There are a number of great locations for family photography in Vancouver. Depending on your preferences and the weather, there are parks, beaches, playgrounds and indoor locations. Some of my favorite locations in Vancouver include Granville Island, Olympic Village, Stanley Park, Steveston and Lighthouse Park.
My rate for family session is $300. It includes the shooting time (1-1,5 hours), and 30+ retouched digital images in high resolution, ready to print.
Call me at 604 4177439 or email Julie.firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. I am very happy to offer my advice and to help in any way I can. If you are from out of town, I could suggest some shooting locations that suit your style and would be the best to implement your ideas for the session.
