Winter wedding in Vancouver - Sarah and Graham
May 17, 2017
Winter weddings are very unique and special, and even more so when they happen just four days before Christmas, when love and anticipation of miracles are so much in the air!
Sarah and Graham`s wedding was on December, 21st and it had probably the most amazing décor with the biggest attention to details I`ve ever seen.
Bride and groom put so much effort into every single item, starting from wedding favors (take home, make your own hot chocolate with marshmallows – doesn`t get more Christmasy than that!), decorate your own cupcakes station (5 different flavors), ginger cookies made by one of grandmothers (you could tell I am craving dessert as I am writing this, right?=))…
Not only food and drinks were well planned, but all the other details were designed and executed with so much love! Matching seat placement cards holders and ring box, hand carved from wood, table linen and all the décor! I really enjoyed seeing guest book printed with the images from the engagement session we did before the wedding too.
Sarah and Graham have chosen Burnaby Village Museum for their bridal party and couples pictures. We had a chance to go to an old tram, and it was really appreciated as it was getting cold. Well, that is a downside of a winter wedding!
The ceremony took place in a chapel, and it was really sweet and cozy there. I guess it was love?
The reception took place at Hart House, where lunch was served, followed by dancing and photobooth entertainment. Sarah surprised her guests and her groom by turning father-daughter dance into a funny performance! Go dad! It was really cool to see him onboard her little mischief!
Finally, the couple got a salute of sparkles, and left the party in a limo with “just married” signs and a bunch of cans, making some noise!
