Cheryl and Ian - wedding at Sunshine Coast
July 5, 2017
it was my first time travelling to Sunshine Coast, and I am grateful to Cheryl and Ian for the opportunity to explore this part of BC a little bit, in addition to capturing beautiful moments of their wedding day.
Starting with Cheryl`s getting ready pictures, with her girlfriends helped her into the dress, the day couldn`t be better - full of laughter and bubbles of all kind, both soapy and drinkable. She wore her family heirloom`s neckless, which complimented perfectly her amazing mermaid dress and cathedral veil.
For the first look the couple selected a rocky point, and it was a perfect location with a magical view to the ocean, Ian couldn't be happier to see his bride, looking stunning himself in his dark blue suit with purple tie. Cheryl matched her bouquet ribbons too!
The ceremony was about to start, and Cheryl walked down to the house with her brother. The Cinderella moment awaited them, when her Prince Charming helped her into blue slippers (they fit perfectly!).
Emotional and loaded with hugs (only three were allowed before they were pronounced husband and wife though), the ceremony went smoothly, even though the groom *almost* forgot to bring the rings. The crisis was solved quickly. Groom`s ring was very special, in fact, it was Cheryl`s very first engagement ring, that Ian used to propose. Even though the moment was perfect for proposal itself, unfortunately there was no place to find a proper ring, so he had to go to a toy store and get anything at all that resembles the ring. So now, on his wedding day, he was receiving a decorated hair elastic, but there was nothing more precious to them.
Finally, the signatures were placed and the words "you may kiss the bride" were finally said. After a toast of champagne, the couple went for a walk on a beach. The evening continued with the party, and dancing, and the celebration.
It was a pleasure to be there and to witness two people, who love each other so much, united in marriage. Their friends and family joined them to support the union, and the bond between the group felt amazing.
