Tammy and David - very stylish March wedding in Vancouver
April 6, 2018
Having photographed so many weddings, one may think that you may get used to it, but it is so not true! Every wedding is unique, every couple is different and the dynamics of the day depends so much on their personal history, their closest friends and family. Every celebration is so personal, so important, so touching, and it is an honor for me to capture these moments for the couple.
Tammy and David’s ceremony was so emotional, almost everybody shed some tears at some point, including myself. These two people had a long way to this day, and finally they are being united. Tammy’s grandmother was able to attend the celebration, making it even more special for the newlyweds, giving them her blessing. Tammy’s nieces were the cutest flower girls, running to their mother as they opened the ceremony.
Both David and Tammy had their own vows written and it also included David’s son in the ceremony, and, of course, into the new union that was just created.
After the ceremony and family portraits the guests were able to enjoy some cocktails and snacks, while the newlyweds took the time to sneak out for pictures. We got so extremely lucky with the weather, it was sunny and beautiful outside, and so fitting for this perfect day. Vancouver Art Gallery has been freshly renovated and provided beautiful backdrop for the stunning couple.
Finally, the reception has started with a special touch – Scottish bagpiper played for the occasion, and the guests were stunned by the performance.
David and Tammy opened the dance floor with their first dance as husband and wife, and the celebration continued with wonderful food, toasts for the bride and groom, and dancing.
It was my greatest pleasure to be a part of this special day, and I was so happy that Tammy and David loved the pictures!
